AGELESS wins the Buffalo Trace.

October 12, 2015

Our friends/clients, Roy & Gretchen Jackson (Lael Stable) won the Buffalo Trace at Keeneland on Friday with AGELESS. She is a MGSW with earnings of over $700,000.  We congratulate the Jackson's and wish them continued success.  Nicoma Bloodstock purchased AGELESS on behalf of Lael Stable in 2010 at the Keeneland Sept. Sale.

Ageless finished second in her seasonal bow here in the Giant’s Causeway S. Apr. 11 before successfully defending her title in Pimlico’s The Very One S. May 16.  Sent off as the second-choice behind speedy ‘TDN Rising Star’ Lady Shipman, the bay sat in a patient fifth as the chalk pressed Richies Sweetheart (Bring the Heat) through hot early splits of :21.56 and :44.78. Lady Shipman charged clear down the three path in the lane with Ageless in hot pursuit. Ageless stubbornly chipped away at the sophomore’s lead and collared her in the shadow of the wire for a narrow success. “She
likes Keeneland,” winning trainer Arnaud Delacour commented. “We know that. She kept her good form. We
kept her fresh for this race, and it worked out.” As for her next start Delacour said, “One race at a time. I’ll see how
she comes back.” Ageless was reportedly vanned back to her barn after suffering from a laceration on her left hock.
