Mademoiselle Coco wins!

June 30, 2016

Our friend/client, Nancy Dillman won a race at Delaware on Wednesday with MADEMOISELLE COCO, who is a half sister to Harve de Grace.  MADEMOISELLE COCO was foaled at Mill RIdge Farm and Nicoma Bloodstock assisted Mrs. Dillman with the mating.  CONGRATULATIONS!

8th-DEL, $36,125, Alw, 6-29, (NW1X), 3yo/up, f/m, 1m 70y, 1:45.14, ft.

MADEMOISELLE COCO (f, 3, Medaglia d'Oro/Easter Bunnette), a half-sister to Havre de Grace (Saint Liam, Ch. Older Mare & Horse of the Year, MGISW, $2,586,175), off the board while sprinting at Fair Grounds Feb. 20 and Keeneland Apr. 8, went wire-to-wire to graduate when stretched out to this distance at this track May 25. She was coming off a third-place effort over track and trip June 9. The 7-1 shot broke sharply and took the early lead, battling longshot Summer in Seattle through fractions of :23.94 and :48.19. She took over in upper stretch and opened a clear lead before holding sway over late-closing favorite Soigne to win by a halflength. Lifetime Record: 5-2-0-1, $46,132.

MADEMOISELLE COCO's dam, Easter Bunnette died in April of 2015 shortly after foaling a colt by Bernardini.
