Friends, Roy & Gretchen Jackson (Lael Stable) had two outstanding results from the weekend.  DIVINING ROD placed 2nd in the Cigar Mile H (Gl) and NO DOZING placed 2nd in the Remsen S (Gll).  Both colts were foaled and raised at Mill Ridge Farm.  Nicoma Bloodstock assisted with the matings.

Mo Town backed up his "TDN Rising Star" designation with an impressive victory while making his stakes debut.  He kicked clear by the sixteenth marker and held sway over No Dozing, who ran very well to be second after carrying all the ground on the second bend.

 

Mill Ridge Sales sold for breeder Gentry Stable, 2014 colt MO MAVERICK who won at Aqueduct.

5th-AQU, $57,000, (S), Alw (NW1$X)/Opt. Clm ($75,000), 11-25, 2yo, 1mT, 1:40.51, gd.

MO MAVERICK (c, 2, Uncle Mo--Lemon Splendor)  Switching to turf and adding Lasix here Nov. 13, the $200,000 KEESEP buy romped wire-to-wire by seven lengths. Breaking sharply but reined in to run in the second flight, the dark hugged the rail while tracking splits of :24.18 and :50.71. Swinging out at the top of the lane, he closed strongly in the final furlong to run down Manifest Destiny (City Zip) by 1 1/4 lengths. Lifetime Record: 4-2-1-0, $82,400. O-R. A. Breeder Dr. John Chandler finished 2nd in the Winter Memories Stake with SASSY LITTLE LILA.  Mill Ridge Sales sold the filly in 2014.

My Impression called upon her class in the final 100 yards and outfinished the rail-rallying Sassy Little Lila to win the inaugural running of the Winter Memories S. Friday at Aqueduct.
