JOHAR’s oldest crop are 3- and 4-year-olds and starting to perform, evident in KEERTANA,
who ran 2nd in two (G1) races, beaten by less than four lengths. KEERTANA ran within a
half a length of the championship with a 3rd in the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1).
Additional 2010 stakes winners include, A SHES ADORABLE, MARTITA SANGRITA, and JOHARMONY.
With his largest crop of 78 foals in 2008, the future looks bright for JOHAR who is the son of premier Sire of
Sires, GONE WEST and out of champion Windsharp. GONE WEST is the sire of influential stallions
SPEIGHTSTOWN, MR. GREELEY, ELUSIVE QUALITY, PROUD CITIZEN,
GRAND SLAM, ZAMINDAR, ZAFONIC and WESTERN WINTER
most of whom started their careers at less than $15,000.

Among 2008 first crop stallions, JOHAR with 14%, had a higher percentage of
first crop juvenile winners from foals than Medaglia d’Oro with 13%.

JOHAR had more winners in his first crop than leading
international sire Mr. Greeley had with his first crop.

With four stakes winners in 2010, and 78 foals of
2008 who will be working for him in the future, you have
to believe that they will be productive on the track.
