Stallions - Diesis

To me he exemplifies the essence of Mill Ridge and has provided a thread for growth over all these years. As a person he touches my heart. He has such a great disposition and exceptional personality. Every evening I drive my golf cart and run my Jack Russells by his paddock and I look forward to saying hello to him. He has meant the world to me.

Diesis

Sharpen Up (GB) - Doubly Sure (GB), by Reliance II

Alice Chandler was in England when Diesis won the Dewhurst so impressively that she begged her friend Lord John Howard de Walden to syndicate him as her first stallion at Mill Ridge. It was such a pleasure to have this sire of three English Oaks winners come to Mill Ridge to stand at stud when he retired. Diesis' career was illustrative of Mill Ridge's international influence, providing a foundation with his European connections and success. His career made Mill Ridge proud by producing a high percentage of stakes winners, graded stakes winners, champions and international recognition as a broodmare sire.
