TEST SCORE Aces the G1 Pegasus World Cup Turf

Mill Ridge graduate TEST SCORE delivered a strong performance in the $1,000,000 Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational, prevailing in the 1 1/8-mile feature on the firm Gulfstream grass course. The 4-year-old colt, trained by Graham Motion and ridden by Manuel Franco, patiently sat just off the pace before moving outside in the stretch and taking the lead in the final furlong. He withstood a late charge from stablemate One Stripe (SAF), giving Motion a 1-2 finish.

Owned by Amerman Racing LLC and bred by Mrs. Jerry Amerman, TEST SCORE increased earnings to $2,000,525 while adding a second Graded 1 victory to his résumé.

TEST SCORE’s win also highlighted the pedigree planning behind the Grade 1 winner, as the mating that produced him was recommended by Nicoma Bloodstock. The victory adds another success to Nicoma’s record for helping clients fulfill their dreams.
